In this inspiring episode, I dive into a journey of resilience, innovation, and tranquility with my guest, Jennnifer Fink. She not only cared for two aging parents with Alzheimer's, but she also knows how it's impacted three previous generations. When facing recurring waves of caregiving, a unique stress can arise that often goes unnoticed: it takes an emotional and mental toll on everyone, especially when Alzheimer's disease runs in the family.
Jennifer has a unique way of managing anger and stress that was taught to her by a friend and colleague. She also shares how nature and crafts gave her the tools to meditate in a non-traditional way, while also being able to help others in her community.
Episode highlights:
Join me and Jennifer for a frank conversation about care struggles, healing, and finding calm after the storm. This episode offers a fresh perspective on managing stress and anger through alternative forms of meditation.
